Mumbai Indians (MI), who have lost their first two games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, will meet Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on March 31.
The Mumbai-Kolkata cricket match will start at 7:30 PM IST. After losing both of their away games at the start of IPL 2025, MI will now try to capitalise on the home advantage.
However, the Akash Ambani-owned team is still concerned about the condition of its best bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. Furthermore, the batting lineup has not been firing in sync; they failed to record a high total in Chennai and were unable to chase down a target of less than 200 against Gujarat Titans (GT).
Despite these losses, MI are unlikely to modify their playing XI unless there is a fitness problem.
Kolkata, however, enters the game fresh off an eight-wicket victory against the Rajasthan Royals (RR), which is sure to bolster their spirits.
